Privacy policy

Who we are

Lanterno Studio designs and builds websites. We are based in Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you use the form on this site or email us, we collect what you choose to send:

  • your name and email address
  • your business website, if you give it
  • your message

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to run and secure the site. This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your message and to talk with you about a website if you ask us to. We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we won’t add you to a mailing list.

Where it is stored

Form messages pass through a third-party form service and arrive in our email inbox. These providers may store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers that protect information to a standard similar to the Australian Privacy Principles, and we delete enquiries we no longer need.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email hello@lanternostudio.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your information, email hello@lanternostudio.com first. If you aren’t happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
